Morzine is a large resort with its own attractive slopes and linked by lift to the main Portes du Soleil . Morzine is a fairly large mountain town sprawling along both sides of a river gorge. Morzine is a family resort , but also offers excellent apres-ski and a wealth of nightlife. It is also very popular with the snowboarding community because of it close links with Avoriaz and it’s board parks. Morzine is full of local restaurants and bars offering fantastic entertainment in the evenings.
In the summer Morzine is popular with mountain bikers and has become one of the best destinations for downhill biking in the world and with Les Gets not far away offers a huge area for all levels. There is also an olympic sized outdoor swimming pool for relaxing.
