Mountain biking in Chatel
Chatel has long since been the undescovered secret of the Portes du Soleil. For the past few years this sleepy little summer resort has been beavering away creating arguably one of Europes best mountain biking areas. Chatel now boasts the biggest and best maintained bike park in the Portes du Soleil and now hosts a number of annual events such as the Chatel slope style on the 2nd,3rd and 4th of July and the IXS Eropean downhill cup on the 8th and 9th of August. Not only this but Chatel is ideally situated to spread your biking wings further afield. We have easy access to Rochers de Naye, Leysin, Barbelouse and Doranz. These are all within half an hours drive from our centre and are some of the best freeriding on the planet in our opinion.
